How to take CBD?
CBD rose to prominence from an unknown cannabinoid to one of the most popular compounds derived from the cannabis plant. A subsequent innovation boom now offers people a multitude of ways to assume it. Each way of administration offers different benefits and results.
Joint (or spliff)
Probably the most standard way to take CBD is through hemp flowers. To do this, you have to grind it and roll it into paper, using a small piece of wrapped paper as a filter.
You can purchase a grinder if needed. Grinding CBD flowers by hand can reduce the power of CBD flowers if the cannabinoid-rich parts of the flower stick to your fingers.
Same for light hashish. The difference is that the mixture should not be ground with a grinder but heated and mixed with a tobacco base. Here, the use of fingers directly on the product is recommended as inevitable for the process.
Joints are very popular in cannabis culture due to their affordability and similarity to cigarettes. The paper material is usually hemp or rice and, together with paper filters, they are available in tobacconists.
Although these materials were chosen for the first time for their tasteless nature, nowadays flavored papers can be found on the market to add a little flavor to the experience.
For those who do not want to face the difficulties of manual skills that the joint requires, there are valid alternatives.
Pipes are extremely common in the light cannabis smoking community. They look identical to tobacco pipes, with the only difference in the material they are made of.
Tobacco pipes are generally made of seafoam, clay, briar or cob.
However, it is common to find cannabis pipes made of metal, ceramic, bamboo or even glass, which have become extremely popular.
It is necessary to grind the flowers (as explained above) and put them in the small bowl at the end of the pipe.
Many newbies choose this method as it is practical, despite not having the filtration advantage of joint or vaporizer.
After grinding the flowers, wait for the vaporizer to heat up. Once the desired temperature is reached, a light or indicator will come on to indicate that it is ready.
Once the light comes on, you can load the chamber with the CBD flower, usually between 0.25 and 0.5 grams and then aspirate from the inhaler.
It is necessary to distinguish the vaporizers on the market. There are both for CBD liquids and flowers, but the two uses are distinct from each other. So make sure you buy the right one.
Tea with hemp flowers?
Although making tea may seem like a very suitable option for ingesting hemp or CBD, unfortunately, it is not as simple as it might seem. There are many teas on the market but honestly, it is not a very cheap or advantageous way: CBD is fat-soluble and requires other fats or lipids for absorption.
CBD is also non-polar and hydrophobic (it repels water and only wants to bind to other neutral and non-polar molecules). Putting CBD in water causes the molecule to be rejected by the molecules of the water.
If you want to make a drink with CBD, it is more efficient to prepare a fat-based drink (milk or similar) and add CBD oil.
CBD oil is an extract of Cannabis indica or Cannabis sativa, the same plants that, once dried, produce marijuana. CBD oil generally does not contain THC, although some traces may be present in products sold in some states.
CBD oil contains CBD mixed with a carrier oil (MCT oil) with a pleasant taste made up of easily digestible saturated fats compared to traditional long-chain fats (LCT).
Bottled oil, called a tincture, is sold in various concentrations. We recommend starting with the lowest 3% and then eventually increasing.
CBD oils don’t get you high, not being made up of psychotropic substances, which is why you can safely take them every day.

How to take CBD oil
Certainly, the easiest method is to take CBD oil by placing it directly under the tongue (that part of the mouth that is rich in capillaries and which will therefore allow the CBD to reach the bloodstream faster). Then drop the CBD oil under the tongue and hold it there for a minute before swallowing.
In a smoothie
Some CBD oil can have a pungent and earthy taste, which is why many people like to cover it up with other more delicious and fatty ingredients. Another way to take CBD is to add CBD oil to a smoothie.
CBD oil is also available in capsule form, which can be a good option for people who want to keep a constant amount of the compound in their bodies.
However, when CBD is ingested, it passes through the digestive tract, which means you may have to wait up to 30 minutes before experiencing any effects.
CBD e-liquid vaporizer
You can vaporize CBD oil with a vaporizer pen. It is essential to distinguish the CBD oil (with oral application) from CBD e-liquids, designed to be taken with a special vaporizer. The two products have completely different uses.
The vaporizer, briefly called “vape”, is an excellent alternative for smoking if you still want the maximum possible effect, but without the harsh sensation of smoke (like medical marijuana) in the throat or lungs.
Balm or cream
CBD oil can be used through topical application, on the skin in the form of a balm, lotion or ointment. This method is probably the simplest as it requires no special tools or knowledge to use.
Simply apply the desired dosage of conditioner to the skin. This method is best for sore muscles, migraines and skin conditions such as acne.
